My name is Meandering Mena, and I'm thrilled you're here!

I'm a historian, creative, explorer, and lady on a budget. I moved to Scotland in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I've studied, talked with locals,  and wandered off the beaten path to provide you with all of my favourite things to see, do, eat, drink, and experience. This page focuses on ancestral tourism, small businesses, history, museums, live music, culture, and everything else that's beautiful in Scotland.
